Smith Brothers Tool Driver / General Shop Associate in Shelby twp, Michigan
*Summary/Objective *
The position of General Shop Associate is responsible for pick up and delivery of outsourced materials and finish products and supplies to and *from the facility. Will also be responsible for overall shop cleanness and vehicle maintenance.

Essential Functions
- Responsible for dropping off and picking up materials to outsourced vendors.
- Picks up shop supplies from various sources as needed.
- Organizes and cleans shop
- Ensures vehicles are clean inside and out.
- Ensure that the vehicles have gas and arrange for routine maintenance and repairs when needed.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday if needed, 40-50 hours per week. Overtime when needed

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Valid drivers license and good with directions.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Industry experience.
- Experience with overhead crane and hi-lo
- Proficient with GPS
