Job Title: Engineering TechnicianJob Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Team Advisor who will be responsible for developing, justifying, and implementing cost savings, renovation and safety projects for our manufacturing facility. The selected candidate will lead the operation of the plant energy systems group, production mechanic group, electrical/electronics group, and facilities maintenance group. This role also requires the administration of the preventive maintenance program, emergency repair of production equipment and support facilities and production equipment change overs.

Hard Skills

  • Contribute to the development of methods and equipment to improve productivity, capabilities; solve operating problems.

  • Define required resources needed and establish action plans to assure controls are built into schedules that adequately measure project progress and monitor adherence to time, cost, and project parameters.

  • Prepare data and calculations for expenditure estimates.

  • Prepare and administer the labor budget and repairs and supplies budget.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Capable of interpreting and communicating customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.

  • Ability to establish and Audit PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures

  • Ability to define and monitor processes to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Capability to review incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determine appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The selected candidate will be part of a team of 6-8 members, working 12 hour shifts in a 2,2,3 model from 5am - 5pm. As part of the leadership team, the candidate will ensure compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to meeting customer requirements.
