AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

• You will be an AWS evangelist and influence your customers to allocate the appropriate resources to achieve their goals

• Your technical expertise and operational excellence will influence your team’s decisions and help us drive secure and robust customer solutions

• You will be responsible leading complex, large scale, IT/technical/engineering programs, and drive cross-team(WW included) communication and solution building

• You will also possess customer facing skills, and strong capability communicating in both English and Mandarin, that will allow you to represent Amazon well within targeted customers' environment

• You will need to assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, balance trade-offs, and encourage risk-tasking to maximize business value

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion experience

  • 5+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent

  • Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skill in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification

  • Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar

  • Direct experience implementing AWS/cloud services

  • Strong listening skills; demonstrated ability to ask effective questions
