AWS Global Demand Organization (GDO) is seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer to build the future with us. As a part of AWS Marketing Technology, GDO provides solutions to support marketers to address diverse problems through technology solutions. We are running a strategic project which leverages AI to transform the traditional customer engagement into a personalized experience that makes it easy to onboard prospects and customers onto AWS.
A successful Software Development Engineer II (SDE 2) in our team needs to be entrepreneurial, able to deal with ambiguity, and work in a highly collaborative environment. You are expected to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable software that solves new and difficult problems. You are able to troubleshoot failures and prevent them from reappearing. You will contribute across the software stack, including back end services, front end components, and applied machine learning.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Singapore, SGP
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
2+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing
