ILHC-HR Services partners with Construction companies throughout the Utah and Salt Lake Valley to support there HR needs. we are currently recruiting for a Structural Designer to support a robust engineering team. 

The Structural Designer develops designs by reviewing, creating, revising and finalizing 3D designs. we work with clients in both the Mining and Commercial construction industry. the type of drawings you will design could be: Large scale commercial cement structures, Concrete tilt-up, design for mine infrastructure, conveyor systems, material handling and complex processing systems.

• Perform civil/structural design work from conceptual design to detailed design of onshore manufacturing projects.
• Prepare civil/structural design 2D drawings and 3D models based on engineering information, site data and customer requirements for:
• Civil/structural general arrangement.
• Structural pipe supports, pipe racks, platforms, building and equipment supports, lift arrangements, paving/grading, underground pipe, foundations, etc
• Prepare structural Material Take-offs and Provide technical support to the project team
• Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple
• Identify solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc
• Generate preliminary sketches, general arrangement, detailed drawings, material take-offs or other deliverables that effectively and simply illustrate components of the design, while conforming to internal engineering and design standards
• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary design, engineering, project management and operations teams to produce "Best for Project" designs that are safe, constructible, operable and maintainable
• Complete designs within designated schedule and budget as defined within project requirements
• Check designs and drawings for function, fit-up, and compliance to internal and regulatory standards
