Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer II (Sleepy Hollow, NY) to build the data foundation for reporting, analysis, experimentation, and machine learning. Build UIs that enable rapid, interactive exploration of data. Develop Search & Discovery data platform on life science domain using fusion to help extract the value from internal and external data stores. Develop frontends that unite large-scale systems for accessing and processing data. Envision the next-generation user experiences for interactive development and storytelling with data. Create and improve data tooling in partnership with internal Data Platform teams. Construct tools for Integrating Open Source framework where required to meet the business needs. Local telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.Job Requirements:Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 1 year of software development experience. Must have experience with: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS with familiarity in React.js and/or Node.js; Creating custom charts and visualizations in Apache Superset, leveraging its API and plugins to build interactive and dynamic dashboards for data analysis and presentation; Developing front-end UI and back-end pipelines with Lucidworks Fusion; Python, Spark, and SQL processes and their integration with (service); Handling Data Acquisition & Data Processing of Structure and unstructure data; Creating automation scripts utilizing REST API's; Image data analysis, understanding unstructure data elements and process; CI/CD & automation of infra as code and deploy application; Micro services and contrainerzation; SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions; Apache Solr, Elastic Search, and/or equivalent technologies; Using Datiku in writing custom python functions and knowledge of notebook environments; Container orchestration and management using Kubernetes; Setting up, configuring and managing EKS clusters and nodes; and Multi-cloud computing like AWS & Google Cloud.
