The Role

Position Overview: The Accounts Payable Invoice Resolution Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring tax compliance and accuracy within our financial operations. This role involves meticulously examining invoices to resolve discrepancies between tax calculations generated by our systems and the information provided. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to navigate complex tax issues and maintain our commitment to excellence in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze invoices received from suppliers or inputted by the Accounts Payable team, ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Investigate variances between tax calculations produced by our systems and invoice data, proactively resolving discrepancies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, Tax, and CIO, to expedite issue resolution. Identify underlying causes of tax discrepancies and implement corrective measures to enhance process efficiency. Facilitate effective communication with vendors to obtain necessary tax documentation and rectify errors. Liaise with the Tax Department to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with global regulations. Provide guidance and support to Accounts Payable colleagues on tax-related matters. Maintain meticulous records and documentation of tax-related activities, ensuring audit readiness at all times.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Taxation, Procurement or a similar role.

Strong problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.

Understanding of global tax regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

Experience working with tax automation tools or software is a plus.

Experience with Ariba is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
