We are seeking innovative and entrepreneurial minded students to join our2024 Summer Internship Program as aHuman Resource Internin Somerset, New Jersey. And we make snacks and candy. Need we say more?
This program will provide invaluable work experience and an opportunity to develop professionally by working on meaningful projects that directly impact the company and our brands. We provide challenging opportunities to gain experience, while recognizing and rewarding achievements. In addition, you will have a direct manager, a team of colleagues to collaborate with, plus you’ll be able to connect with our community of Interns.
SQF/GMP Audit – Audit Job Descriptions
Run a list of all positions and compare with the job descriptions
Create a binder with all job descriptions
Every position must have a job description
Every job description must be signed by the employee, manager and HR and a copy must be filed in personnel file
Make sure that the reporting structure is still accurate in the job description
Make sure that the job description is up to date
If new positions are created make sure that we have the new job description is in Paycom
Assist with Orientation
Pre-Orientation
Request list of new hires from TA team
Create access badges
Assign lockers
Order Lunch
Order Uniforms
Orientation Day
- Enroll fingerprints in Paycom
Take photo
Plant Tour
Assist with paperwork (W2, Direct Deposit, COVID vaccine card, Benefits paperwork)
New Hire Follow Up
2-week follow up
45 Day follow up
Qualification
Rising junior in college/university, pursuing Bachelors Degree within Engineering.
3.0 overall GPA or better.
Strong analytical ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
Self-motivated and bias for action.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated personal and professional values.
The ability to multitask.
Ability to work within team environments to accomplish set goals.
