Fluid Flow is seeking a Sales Engineer. Sales candidates may work from their home office in the Souderton, PA area.

We sell premium compressed air equipment with captive aftermarket. We repair this equipment on-site and on-demand, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Summary As an Outside Sales Engineer for a large distributor of premium compressed air, fluid handling, and filtration products you will be responsible for providing value added sales and service to customers in your territory.

The ideal candidate will be a high energy self-starter with a strong technical background and an ability to communicate with plant technical staff to meet plant process objectives at the optimal cost. Candidate will have experience in value selling of high-performance products in competitive Industrial, Power, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Food and Beverage or Biopharmaceutical markets. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently are critical requirements!

Company will provide ample, continuous application and product training and has significant internal resources to help outside sales staff achieve their goals.

Responsibilities  * Proactively identifying customer needs and problems  * Presenting creative solutions to customers that provide improved performance & cost savings  * Quoting prices, credit terms and reviewing specifications  * Maintaining customer records using automated CRM systems (Salesforce)  * Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing  * Providing regular sales forecasts and appropriate feedback from the field

Education  * Technical college or Engineering degree, preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  * Problem Solving - Anticipating, meeting and/or exceeding customer needs, wants and expectations  * Ability to Work Independently - Using tools and resources to develop and adapt a plan to meet objectives  * Goal Orientation - An internal drive to meet and exceed assigned goals and objectives  * Team Player - Desire to work with the sales team to exchange market information and selling strategies
