The Admissions Coordinator at the College of Nursing serves as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and visitors, arranges campus visits, handles data entry tasks, and provides overall support to the admissions team. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate campus visits, offering hospitality to guests, managing phone inquiries, and directing students to appropriate college resources.

  • Handle financial transactions related to admissions processes.

  • Provide essential support to the admissions team by accurately entering data for application processing, including test scores, transcripts, and other necessary documents.

  • Act as the primary administrator for the required entrance exam for admissions.

  • Participate actively in special visit days, registration events, open houses, and orientation activities.

  • Collaborate closely with the admissions team to ensure all efforts align with the strategic objectives of the Office and the University.

  • Manage recruitment system functions, both through computerized and manual processes, to facilitate efficient admissions operations.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in admissions, student services, or a related field, preferably in a higher education setting.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with diverse populations, including prospective students, families, and colleagues.

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, particularly in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Suite, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events and recruitment activities.
