Valley Mission Homecare Pharmacy Medical Equipment Assistant in Spokane Valley, Washington

The Medical Equipment Assistant (MEA) role combines frontline customer service, helping patients with their medical supply and equipment needs, confirming insurance benefits, working with the pharmacy team to coordinate care. Answer phone calls, operate cash register, dispense medical supplies, HCPC billing and coding. Work closely with clinicians to streamline referrals, and process items for delivery or will-call. Submit Prior Authorizations to insurance companies and track progress.

Department of Health Pharmacy Assistant License or other recognized license required (will assist new hires in this process).

Will train the right person. Schedule is Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm.
