Sr. Payroll Administrator/Supervisor at an Established Firm with a National Presence!

Robert Half is seeking a Sr. Payroll Administrator/Supervisor for a growing organization with a well-known presence not just in western mass but throughout the nation. This pivotal role will handle managing the payroll processing along with tax compliance and reporting. The candidate will utilize their expertise to ensure adherence to all relevant payroll regulations and work closely with the HR teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll processing and verify accurate timekeeping

Manage tax compliance

Conduct audits of payroll records and prepare required reports.

Handle complex payroll inquiries, maintain compliance and manage garnishments.

Assist with benefits administration and manage 401(k) plans

Support the payroll team by handling escalated issues, navigating employee questions, or ad hoc payroll needs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of payroll experience in a corporation including knowledge of tax administration, payroll processing, and compliance.

• Proficiency in payroll software

• Excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and good time management abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.

• Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Salary depending on experience ranging from $80,000-$90,000, top notch benefits package, and hybrid work model(2 days home, 3 days office) is offered. Local candidates only.

Requirements

• Experience managing payroll for at least a few hundred employees

• Exceptional knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and best practices.

• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax and labor laws related to payroll.

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
