About the Role

Our award-winning Food and Beverage team are at the hub of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Named after the 17th hole of the Old Course, this fine dining restaurant is the beating heart of the hotel. With its commitment to using only the finest local ingredients, breath taking views out over the Fife coastline, and exceptional service, it’s no wonder why the restaurant has earned such a prestigious 3 AA Rosettes rating.

The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with excellent communication skills and experience managing a 3 AA Rosette Restaurant.

Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for the Road Hole Restaurant and Afternoon Tea.

  • Ensure that systems are followed and that every effort is made to control costs and maximise productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with our legal obligations in terms of health and safety, Food Hygiene and Alcohol licenses.

  • Work closely with Director – Food & Beverage to review and implement strategic plan for business growth of the Road Hole Restaurant and afternoon tea.

  • Ensure familiar with composition of all dishes on the menu as per menu specification and to be critical of all food and beverage equipment and flowers served or displayed within the restaurant.

  • Ensure payroll expense conforms to departmental budgets, and schedules are properly aligned with levels of hotel activities.

  • Answerable for all control, par stock, equipment, maintenance, storage, systems and policies within the department. Ensure all administration is completed correctly and on time.

  • Direct and coach associates to promote and maintain a high level of guest service in line with LQA, Visit Scotland, and AA.

  • Responsible for overseeing all training activities to ensure bank of multi skilled service focused F&B associates to work across all areas of the business.

  • Develop ideas and suggestions for implementation and enhancement of overall guest satisfaction and experience.

About You

  • An engaged leader with a passion for training and developing their team.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills who will remain calm, efficient, and reliable.

  • Someone who will look after customers’ needs ensuring they have a memorable visit.

  • A passion to grow sales by making sound decision.

  • Experience managing a 5* and 3 AA Rosette Restaurant is preferred however it is not essential.

Salary

This a full-time permanent opportunity working 40 hours per week with a highly competitive salary along with a range of associate benefits.
