Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our team in a dynamic role where you will be responsible for operating a sand blasting machine. Your duties will include following work order sheets, utilizing an overhead crane to move printing press rolls, securely loading journals of rolls into the machine, monitoring the machine's operation from a control desk, unloading rolls, conducting quality checks using a micrometer, and reporting any machine issues to the appropriate personnel.
Pay/Shift:
5am-5pm
$17-19hr
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Batavia, Illinois.
Weekend Shift: 5am-5pm, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Work Environment
The work site is an older building that may become somewhat dirty and hot during summer months. The laser operation area is loud and requires wearing safety gear to protect against the bright lasers. Safety measures are strictly followed to ensure a safe working environment
