nVent Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Development in St Louis Park, Minnesota

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead special strategy projects, initiatives and evaluate white space market entry or expansion opportunities that advance key strategic priorities leveraging project management and analytical skills
Partner with business segment teams to identify strategic needs and potential target companies/technologies to address those needs
Perform strategic, financial, and analytical analysis and assessments on various growth and M&A opportunities
Lead and support financial and valuation models for M&A transactions and cross-functional due diligence activities and support integration planning
YOU HAVE:
8+ years of professional experience, ideally including employment in a professional services firm, such as an investment bank or private equity firm or a corporate environment with international reach
Bachelor's degree required. Masters or MBA preferred
Experience in various acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and related carve-out work of various sizes, domestically or internationally
Valuation expertise (beyond just modeling but understanding the external valuation environment)
Skilled in project management in terms of both leading the thought content and managing the process
