Factory Motor Parts Blow Mold Operator in St. Paul, Minnesota

Description Our Saint Paul Splash Plant is looking for Operators to be responsible for the safe and efficient running of blow mold machinery resulting in the production of quality product. This position adjusts, monitors, and performs minor maintenance on blow molding machinery. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Run blow molding machinery while making appropriate machinery adjustments as needed to ensure final product is within quality specifications. Ensure correct amount of finished product in made. Add dye to manufacturing process as needed. Monitor product quality including bottle weights and neck finishes via visual inspection and qualitymeasurements. Package final product. (Gas line bottles) Ensure safety standards and expectations are met at all times. Clean machine and surrounding areas. Complies with all company policies & procedures including but not limited to attendance, appearance etc.* Assist other operators as needed. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Knowledge of blow molding machinery. Demonstrated mechanical ability to run machinery and make adjustments as needed. Ability to successfully run one or more machines simultaneously. Effective verbal communication skills. Basic ability to complete written documentation of product made and quality measurements. Effective teamwork skills. Ability to problem solve machinery problems and escalate issues when needed. Ability to visually inspect product as well as complete quality measurements. Ability to work safely and maintain safety expectations.
