Hybrid work environment with potential for significant telework. Primary work location will be the Golden Rule Building in St Paul.

This position will be the primary business analyst and liaison to our MNIT projects, maintenance and vendors for HOME/HEAR and Strengthening Minnesota Homes. This position will manage the business information technology needs and consult with MNIT for software development, business process, and technology contracts/vendors.

Primary functions of this position include, developing, coordinating, and maintaining Commerce IT projects to meet the needs of HOME/HEAR, Strengthening Minnesota Homes and other identified projects.

Minimum Qualifications

3 (three) years of experience in project management working with software development and/or new technologies.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is equivalent to one (1) year of experience. An Advanced degree Computer Science, or related field is equivalent to eighteen (18) months of experience.

Applicants who meet the above education/experience requirement will be further evaluated based on the following:

  • Experience working in information technology and app development.

  • Experience working with external vendors on building, buying or renting applications to meet business needs.

  • Experience training others on technology development processes, timelines and terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certificate

  • Experience working in the Energy sector.

  • Experience working with rebate programs.

Physical Requirement

Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
