The Opportunity

Step into a pivotal role as the Director of Program Management in our Ventures division at our Little Canada, MN location. Here, you will lead transformative initiatives aimed at restoring health and enhancing quality of life through innovative device and management solutions for patients.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with Purpose : Oversee portfolio-level activities, ensuring strategic alignment and success across existing and future programs as part of the leadership team.

  • Drive Results : Manage program scope, risks, schedules, resources, and budgets to achieve outstanding outcomes.

  • Collaborate and Influence : Work cross-functionally and across sites to resolve conflicts and elevate program success, while co-leading the franchise steering committee.

  • Mentor and Develop : Identify and nurture talent within the team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Communicate Effectively : Partner with senior leadership informed of progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.

  • Support Company Initiatives: Champion all company initiatives, aligning with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.

  • Mentor and Guide: Lead and direct program managers and directors, providing mentorship and fostering a diverse, high-performing team.

  • Safety First: Maintain a safe and professional work environment, prioritizing the well-being of all team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering or medical device discipline (± 16 years) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: 15 years leading projects in the medical device, biomedical, or high-tech industries, with a preference for medical device expertise. Experience with integration or start up technology a plus.

  • Technical Leadership: 8 years managing technical staff, with a broad, in-depth understanding of the medical device industry. Percutaneous Delivery systems and implantable device experience a plus

  • Complex Problem Solver: Proven ability to synthesize complex business and technical aspects of large-scale development programs.

  • Enterprise Experience: Familiarity with cross-division business unit models in a highly matrixed, geographically diverse environment.

  • Inspirational Leadership: Strong skills in setting goals, providing constructive feedback, and building positive relationships to drive results. Must be able to lead by example.

  • Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization, including senior management.

  • Organizational Wizard: Exceptional planning, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills, with a knack for holding others accountable.

  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel approximately 10%, with occasional international trips.
