The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Data Analyst helps the Weatherization Assistance Program deliver high impact energy conservation upgrades and build climate resiliency for low-income Minnesota households. This position exists to provide advanced-level, in-depth research and analysis for the Weatherization Assistance Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience performing analysis, exercising judgment, and relying on knowledge in program analysis, research analysis, data science, program evaluation, or related field.
A Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Social Policy, Economics, or related field is equivalent to one (1) year of experience.
An Advanced degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Social Policy, Economics, or related field is equivalent to eighteen (18) months of experience.
Applicants who meet the above education/experience requirement will be further evaluated based on the following:
Experience conducting research and analysis and presenting information to decision makers.
Experience working with qualitative research methods, data manipulation, data transformation and interpretation, and statistical analysis.
Experience designing and implementing clear and meaningful data visualizations or analytics on program performance.
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of low-income programs, program design principles and techniques, organizational capacity/risk assessment, performance measurement, or program evaluation.
Expertise with programming and/or statistical analysis tools used to support research and analysis, such as, R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, Python, Tableau, or SQL.
Ability to adapt to continuous change in processes, organizational structures, and roles sufficient to work constructively under pressure, to cope with ambiguity, and deal effectively with setbacks.
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
