About the Role

We're looking for a Senior HR Manager who will be a vital part of our team, helping us align HR practices with our business goals. In this role, you'll work closely with our business leaders and management teams, offering expert advice and support on a variety of HR issues. Your focus will be on driving performance through people-focused initiatives and ensuring that our HR strategies complement our overall business strategy. We're seeking someone who understands our business deeply, can build strong relationships, and could influence and drive change.

Responsibilities

HR Business Partner (HRBP) Consultancy

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand the organization's goals and implement HR strategies that support these objectives.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters, including talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.

  • Oversee and provide guidance and expertise on all employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.

  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development.

  • Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring that employees are engaged and aligned with new processes and structures, ensuring process minimizes resistance and maximizes employee adoption.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive organizational culture.

  • Conduct employee surveys, analyze feedback, and implement action plans to address areas of concern.

  • Assess training needs and work with the Learning and Development team to deliver programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.

  • Assess employee competency and experience gaps and support learning and development initiatives, support leadership and coaching programs for managers and executives.

    Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Advocate for and support DEI initiatives within the organization.

  • Partner with business leaders to develop strategies that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.

    HR Metrics and Analytics:

  • Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

  • Provide insights and reports to business leaders on key HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and workforce demographics.

    Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify and mitigate HR-related risks to the organization.

  • Provide the tools to managers to track completion of annual mandatory compliance courses.

    Payroll & Compensation

  • Collaborate with the HR payroll partner to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

  • Provide employee data and updates to the payroll team as necessary.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3-5 years’ experience  

  • SHRM certification a plus  

  • Strong expertise in an HR business partner/generalist role  

  • Prior experience partnering with employees in hybrid environments.   

  • Experience in a consultative, problem-solving role.  

  • Highly self-motivated and flexible; comfortable working independently in a changing, dynamic environment

  • Possesses strong planning, organization, and time management skills.

  • Ability to be flexible and capable of navigating a fast-paced team environment. 

  • Possesses a high level of business acumen. 

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively. 

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with a hands-on and ‘can-do attitude’.

  • Recognizes the importance of communicating timely, openly, honestly, and respectfully.

  • Highly motivated, innovative, and adaptable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
