TheStanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD), the global and online education unit of Stanford Engineering, seeks a Corporate Engagement Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in driving client conversion, retention, and satisfaction, while helping to build our community of enterprise clients working to advance learning and development efforts. Over the next year, SCPD is expanding enterprise outreach and engagement and this role offers opportunities to work directly with organizations to successfully address their unique learning needs and to drive internal initiatives to innovate our service offerings and operational efficiencies to deliverStanford Enterprise Education for Transformation.

A successful Corporate Engagement Operations Manager on our team will enjoy having a variety of projects in motion at the same time, takes the initiative to collaboratively move colleagues to consensus and action, possesses strong attention to detail in terms of client-facing protocol, and remains committed to building their communication and cultural competency skills, including the ability to inclusively interact with people across cultures and in different organizational roles.

Reporting to the Chief Corporate Engagement and Global Partnerships Officer, this role works closely with our associate directors to support SCPD’s clients and learning collaborators and will also focus on cross-functional projects with colleagues from across our marketing, programs, client success, data, and systems teams to benefit the larger organization. Given the global and customer-facing nature of our work, this role may be asked to occasionally work early mornings, evenings and/or weekends.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute group enrollments and multi-offering engagements with clients, including client support services and collaboration with internal stakeholders for delivery; Implement conversion strategies to meet product goals.

  • Regularly represent SCPD's corporate engagement team to external/internal stakeholders, including prospective and existing corporate clients.

  • Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve corporate engagement efforts.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns to increase enterprise lead generation, assessing, and revising as necessary to meet goals.

  • Deliver and improve client experiences that lead to high customer satisfaction and advocacy for the center.

  • Actively participate in efforts to improve processes, programs and business across the center.

Additional duties:

  • Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise, and implement process and procedure enhancements for the corporate engagement and to improve efficiency for the larger organization.

  • Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that may include developing communications and training, planning/promoting events and/or conferences.

  • May participate in development of budgets, monitor and approve expenditures.

  • May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine budgets.

Education & Experience (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (Required):

  • Experience with managing products/programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of various marketing elements (e.g. pricing, audience, channels, communication).

  • Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand the target audience lifecycle and ability to convert leads into new business.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education & Experience (Desired):

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work and multi-task.

  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects, while working collaboratively

  • Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional work on evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.

  • Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking.

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University hasfive Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $74,000 to $101,000 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
