Salary

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

As part of our consumer deposit and relationship management team, as a Personal Banker you will provide the proactive, friendly and efficient customer service that builds our consumer and small business customers' trust and loyalty. Personal Bankers provide professional delivery of all primary deposit and withdrawal services to clients, to include all teller functions as well as opening of new checking, savings, certificates of deposit, retirement and ODP accounts.

  • Cultivate knowledge of products, services, and customer interests. -

Establish, maintain, and deepen customer relationships to achieve branch performance goals and provide excellent customer service. -

Identify and promote products aligned with customer's financial and business needs. -

Efficiently open accounts, and accurately complete documentation to open and maintain accounts. -

Protect BNC and our customers by strictly following policies and procedures, maintaining bank security, and the confidentiality of customer information. -

Provide back-up support to branch with day-to-day operational transactions.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday

Experience

  • One year experience and proficiency handling cash.
  • Minimum one year experience providing a high level of customer service.

  • Previous Bank Teller experience a bonus.

  • Working knowledge of bank deposit procedures, lending and credit products, new account opening procedures.

  • Experience promoting products and basic sales skills.

Education - High School Diploma (or GED) or better. - College education preferred.
