Aston Carter Integrated Master Scheduler in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Job Title: Integrated Master SchedulerJob Description

This individual will perform all scheduling functions including preparation, maintenance, and update of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in alignment with the Department of Defense (DoD) Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and IMS Preparation and Use Guide. Responsibilities include documenting and tracking all actions for events and milestone reviews, providing a valid schedule following global standards by the Program Management Institute (PMI), and applying management analysis techniques related to cost, schedule, risk assessment, and scenario planning. The role demands developing, integrating, and synchronizing schedules across various teams and efforts to ensure a fully integrated schedule for entire programs. This includes presenting schedules to leadership in both detailed and high-level formats, maintaining and updating the IMP and IMS for program milestone reviews or events, and capturing all tasks for a project spanning approximately 1000 production lines over 4-5 years.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Work Environment

The position is based in a purpose-built facility in Sterling Heights, MI, designed to support major automotive and armament projects. The facility includes office spaces, conference areas, an engineering lab, and a vehicle high bay integration space. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with flexibility in schedule and a current hybrid work arrangement, potentially moving to full onsite work in the future.
