FLEX-STAFF, INC. - STEVENS POINT Fundraising & Marketing Director in STEVENS POINT, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: One of our non-profit clients located in Stevens Point is eagerly searching for an experienced Fundraising & Marketing Director to join their fun and hard working team of professionals. Key Responsibilities: Special Events: -Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and donor appreciation events -Support internal special events -Develop event strategies that maximize donor engagement and revenue -Coordinate and attend fundraising event planning committee meetings. -Oversee event logistics, budgets, and volunteer coordination -Maintain comprehensive event planning guides for all events -Develop strategies to recruit, engage, and retain event volunteers -Coordinate volunteer activities and provide necessary training and support Grant Writing: -Manage a portfolio of foundation prospects while researching and identifying new potential funding sources, both local and national; present new prospects and suggest next steps -Write, submit, and track grant proposals and reports in the donor database, managing deadlines for grants and grant deliverables. Marketing: -Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase visibility and support for the organization. -Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and conduct market research Donor Communications: -Develop and execute donor communication plans, including regular updates, impact reports, and personalized correspondence Website Management: -Oversee the content and functionality of the organization\'s website. Media Relations: -Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets. -Serve as a spokesperson for the organization when needed and write press releases & coordinate media coverage Advocacy and Outreach: -Represent the organization at community events and meetings. Perform other duties as assigned: -Take on additional tasks and projects as needed to support the organization\'s goals and initiatives. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field -Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising and marketing, preferably within the non-profit sector -Proven track record in organizing successful fundraising events and campaigns -Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis in strong grant writing skills -Proficiency in platforms such as social media, email marketing and SEO -Experience with donor management software would be helpful (e.g., MyClubHub, DonorPerfect, Raiser\'s Edge). -Strong organizational and project management skills -Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with donors, community groups, board members, volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders -Proficiency with technology is essential; must be skilled or willing to learn MS Office, Constant Contact, donor software, and Canva -Valid driver\'s license and good driving record ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: stevenspoint@flexstaff.com Apply Online: www.flexstaff.com Call For Appointment: 715-343-9000 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
