Job Title: Diesel Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Diesel Technician, where you will be responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, focusing primarily on mechanical failures, and assisting with electrical troubleshooting. You will inspect trucks and address issues reported by drivers, ensuring all vehicles are maintained and safe for road use. Your duties will include chassis component repair and maintenance, managing refuse bodies including control, hydraulic and electrical systems, and air and hydraulic braking systems. Additionally, you will handle engine repair and maintenance, suspension, drive train, steering systems, heating, and air conditioning maintenance. You will also perform line maintenance welding and fabrication, and provide safe road service when necessary.

Work Environment

Located in Stevensville, this position is for the 2nd shift openings. The 2nd shift typically runs from 2pm to 1am, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch and several breaks throughout the day. Expect to work about 50-55 hours per week.
