Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Facilities Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Facilities Coordinator. This position will help ensure a comprehensive regulatory and facility compliance program to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for those we care for. The Facilities Coordinator will serve as the main liaison between the DCT Safety Team, DCT Program Staff, and DCT Facilities Team. The incumbent will be responsible for full compliance with all local, state, and federal standards, laws, and regulations to protect the health and well-being of all staff, patients, and visitors.
Primary responsibilities:
Develop policies, procedural improvement, and work measurement.
Coordinate, develop, and implement a proactive, comprehensive regulatory compliance program that focuses on the physical environment of DCT facilities specifically pertaining to the Environment of Care, Life Safety, and National Patient Safety Goals.
Manage compliance and testing projects in DCT owned and leased facilities to provide a safe, controlled environment for patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Assist the Safety Administrators in response to all emergency and disaster situations within DCT facilities

Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience in facilities management, construction, architecture, or related field that demonstrates the following:
Experience in project administration, security, safety, and related issues.
Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, financial systems, and communications tools (i.e., Archibus, B3, Access, Excel, Word, Crystal Reports, SWIFT, etc.)
Experience with building components, mechanical and electrical systems, building codes, construction methods, architectural and engineering principles as it relates to the design, construction, and maintenance.
Strong human relations and leadership skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various departments, employees, and stakeholders.
Note: A Bachelor’s Degree in facilities management, building management, construction management, or related field may substitute for 1 year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Joint Commission, CMS, local, or state regulations specifically in hospital settings.
Understanding of the State of Minnesota’s contracting and purchasing policies and processes.
Skilled in working with preventative maintenance, Building Automation Systems, and fire/sprinkler systems.
Strong critical thinking skills to resolve a wide range of problems around the DCT facility.
