Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Job Description

  • As an Inventory Clerk, you will be pivotal in maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels to ensure the shop is adequately supported with materials.

  • Your key responsibilities will include reporting shortages, overages, and all inventory levels monthly for replenishment to ensure continued operations and avoid product or inventory shortages. You will classify, label, and warehouse all inventories for future use.

  • This role is labor-intensive and requires the use of various material handling equipment.

  • You will work at a fast pace to keep up with demand, follow directions and processes as instructed by the Inventory Manager, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Additionally, you will complete cycle counts timely and accurately, communicate defective goods, manage obsolete items, and verify receipt of items by comparing received and ordered items.

  • You will also be responsible for sorting and filing documents and performing other duties as necessary for chassis and inventory management.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Stockton, California.

Work Environment

The role is based in an open-air shop environment where most of the manufacturing and assembly occur, with a yard area for staging and installation of equipment. Working conditions include both indoor and outdoor environments. You will be part of a collaborative team of approximately 10-12 members. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime as needed.
