JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Description - External Maintain and update department files and reports. Assist other internal departments as required by providing documentation, files, and support. So, here\'s the details: Pay rate: \$19.50 per hour. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday from 9:30pm-6:00am. Paid holidays, vacation time, educational assistance program, and more! ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Maintain schedule of incoming & outgoing shipments. Receive purchase orders. Communicate receipt of all products timely to appropriate leaders. Check in scheduled orders throughout each daily shift. Must be able to multitask and prioritize several tasks at one time. Communicate with over the road drivers regrading instructions while on McLane property. Assign dock doors to over the road drivers delivering product to the DC. Compare item quantities on bill of lading for each order against open quantity ordered. Time stamp each bill of lading and purchase order worksheet to track timeliness of receipt. Able to accurately read bill of lading to gather information such at PO number, seal number & quantities delivered. Stamp each bill of lading to be filled out at receipt of order to document quantities, damage, pallet counts, and other needed information. Work closely with the receiving team to ensure proper flow of orders being received according to appointed times. Communicate clearly with receivers upon completion of each order to ensure exceptions are noted. Clearly fill out every line on the bill of lading stamp to document exceptions on each order. Work closely with the receiving supervisor to note exceptions or recounts. Collect unload fees for each order received. Complete and compile a daily stack of unload fee recap sheets for order not collected via online portal. Complete a daily shift recap noting exceptions such as product damaged, product shorted, damaged pallets, and no call no show orders. Other duties may be assigned. MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED. 2 or more years work experience, preferably in the distribution industry. Experience with Microsoft Office systems. WORKING CONDITIONS: The environment encompasses all areas of a Distribution Center, Transportation Department, or Transportation Shop.
