Wage: $23 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:

A Construction Yard Attendant will be responsible for performing various jobs around the corporate construction yard. If you enjoy a wide array of projects and not the same repetitive job every day, this may be your ideal career. Take ownership of your role by keeping the surroundings of a building safe, and visually appealing, and complying with safety and environmental requirements while maintaining and operating equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform yard and shop work (i.e. mowing, sweeping, washing equipment, etc.).

  • Operate fork lift to unload trucks and trailers.

  • Assist mechanics with equipment repairs if needed.

  • Part running (i.e. picking up or delivering parts).

  • Operate hand tools and equipment as needed.

  • Perform a variety of other tasks per the manager.

  • Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work as this job description is non-exhaustive.

Position Requirements:

  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.

  • Personal protective equipment is required.

  • Transportation to and from work, and travel to various job locations as needed.

  • Possess excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.

  • Dependability and reliability by showing up for a shift on time and being prepared for work.

  • A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co-workers and management.

  • E xposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.

  • Overnight travel is not standard.
