Senior Maintenance Engineer * Work for a company that places the health and safety of all employees above all else * Continue to build your career with opportunities for future advancement * Permanent role based in Superior, Arizona About the role We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to support the delivery of business objectives by providing on-site technical support for the operations, maintenance and project teams. This includes failure analysis and defect elimination for critical systems, as well as, identification and implementation of improvement projects associated with maintenance tactics, heath/safety systems and future project requirements. This role is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make significant contributions to the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of critical assets in order to meet production requirements at the Resolution Copper Operations. Reporting to the Principal Advisor - Engineering and working on 4 on/3 off schedule you will be responsible for: * Identification, ownership and implementation of initiatives to deliver improvements in safety, asset performance, and cost * Capital project validation, review and delivery support * Initiation and facilitation of failure analysis to mitigate acute and chronic asset failures * Implementation of and improvement to maintenance tactics for new and existing assets About you To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: * A Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), or 7 years of equivalent experience * 3+ years of experience in engineering maintenance roles * An ability to work collaboratively in a small team * Demonstrated experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives and projects * Experience with asset failure analysis. * Willingness to perform in-field tasks It will also be beneficial if you have: * Experience working in an underground fixed plant environment * Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS * Basic computer aided drafting experience What we offer
