Job Title: Process Operator

Job Description

As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating towers in a control-room like setup. Your duties include running the process efficiently, making decisions on adjusting process parameters to meet quality and production goals, and identifying improvements for the operation of designated areas. Additionally, you will perform daily startup and shutdowns, complete process checklists, conduct process calibrations, and set up, operate, and monitor the saw and tower processes using PLC. You will work from a station outside of the tower, managing and adjusting the process throughout your shift to ensure the product meets quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining the production standards of the plant.

Hard Skills

  • Setup, Operate, Monitor Equipment

  • Batching/Chemical Operator experience preferred

  • Familiar with PLC

  • Lock Out/Tag Out Safety protocols

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Swedesboro, New Jersey.

Work Environment

The work environment can be loud with machinery running around the workstations. Most areas are dusty due to making and cutting processes. This is a 1st shift position with (4) 10-hour days (Mon - Thurs). Must be flexible for overtime on Fridays.
