Overview:
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction through the efficient operation and maintenance of property services. Key duties include coordinating service personnel, managing building contractors, and maintaining safety and risk management. The role emphasizes fostering positive relationships among tenants and staff, while embodying CBRE's values and maintaining high communication and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Communication: Foster relationships with stakeholders, ensuring excellent verbal and written communication with tenants and colleagues.
Property Operations Management: Oversee operating budgets, monitor service performance, and ensure compliance with policies and statutory requirements.
Contract & Tenant Management: Manage contractor activities, monitor service agreements, and ensure timely execution of capital works and tenant requests.
Administrative Oversight: Prepare budgets, monitor expenditure, maintain technical documentation, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
Emergency & Crisis Management: Be available for after-hours emergencies, participate in crisis control committees, and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
About you:
Service Delivery Skills: Excellent interactive service delivery relationship skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of statutory legislation relevant to property operations, including Workplace Health & Safety and Essential Services regulations.
Technical Proficiency: Sound knowledge of essential fire safety measures and building services, alongside intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Organizational Abilities: Superior organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
Experience & Education: Minimum 3 years in property management, relevant tertiary qualification, and experience in contractor management in commercial/industrial settings.
