Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Melville, New York. This role primarily focuses on managing and processing accounts payable within the industry, where you will be tasked with maintaining accurate records and performing account reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process invoices and handle data entry tasks
• Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Code invoices accurately to appropriate expense accounts
• Handle invoice processing tasks with high accuracy
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to accounts payable.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation practices and procedures.
• Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP).
• Demonstrable ability to perform check runs.
• Proven experience in coding invoices.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to process invoices efficiently and effectively.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Extensive experience in using QuickBooks.
