Boeing Brazil is seeking Associate Systems Engineer , reporting directly to the Systems Engineering Manager of the Boeing Brazil , Sao Jose dos Campos site.

This team of Systems Engineers will focus the foundations of revolutionizing airplane development at Boeing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

  • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical and functional interfaces.

  • Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

  • Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

  • Works under guidance of the team lead and senior employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have had a continuous or combined break in employment lasting at least 12 months

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related Engineering fields

  • Must be legally able to work in Brazil

  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor

  • Must have advanced proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in the English language

  • Some experience in system engineering development

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Experience applying Systems Engineering principals.

  • Model Based Systems Engineering and Model Based Engineering application and toolsets.

  • Flexible collaboration skills and experience with Agile methodologies.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
