Role Overview:

Primarily responsible for cultivating relationships with clients through day-to-day account management of a book of business or client accounts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to solidifying relationships to secure existing business with identified clients and, where applicable, growing the business through the sale of additional products and/or solutions aligned to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth and Sales

  • Accountable for executing the in-country Commercial Risk Solutions growth plan and focused on sales and growth.

  • Leading, managing and executing the agreed growth plan, budget for allocated client portfolio and contributing to the annual planning cycle.

  • Managing the growth planning framework including a regular and dynamic focus on the Market Assessment process.

  • Coordinate, align and focus best resources to pipeline opportunities.

  • Stay on track and increase year on year client retention ratio.

    Client Ownership

  • Has structured direct contact with clients and authority for negotiation.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; often leads the work of project teams; may formally train junior staff.

  • May have extensive interaction with internal and external clients to identify, research and resolve problems.

    Operational Excellence

  • Accurate and timely input of leads and pipelines in required internal platform.

  • Possesses advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities; able to follow procedures and investigate issues to solve problems.

  • Works independently and solves a range of straightforward problems and complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts

  • Decisions are based on acquired skills and knowledge as opposed to applying discretion and judgment.

  • Due to different situations encountered, Incumbent has latitude to consider which procedure to use.

  • Incumbent typically carries out own research to make recommendations.

  • May have extensive interaction with internal and external clients to identify, research and resolve problems.

  • Receives general instructions, follows defined procedures and works independently to prioritize and organize work.

  • Manages daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

  • May be a graduate who is entering a professional discipline and learning to use professional concepts.

  • Has conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures typically acquired through a college or university degree or equivalent work experience.
