Founded in 1858, AIDB serves more than 36,000 infants, toddlers, children, adults, and seniors with hearing and vision loss throughout Alabama each year. [**[ABOUT YOU [[You will play a vital role in the lives of our students. You will display a positive, approachable, and professional demeanor and will serve in the day-to-day communication with our students, staff, and parents. You will be able to work independently, as well as with a team. You will provide direct professional nursing care/services, first aid, illness, and emergency care to the unique and diverse needs of students in a positive manner to enhance the health and wellness of the school community. Delegates interventions as per guidelines and policies.

  • Unencumbered, Alabama nursing license
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Computer literacy and competency in use of existing technology
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
