OPS Personnel Technician III - 70900505

Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour

This advertisement is for an OPS position located in the Office of Human Resources, Administration, in Tallahassee, Florida.

SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY. EMPLOYEES ARE NORMALLY HIRED AT THE APPOINTMENT RATE.

Under the direction of Secretary, Ricky Dixon, the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) is the 3rd largest state prison system in the country and the State of Florida’s largest agency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Personnel Technician III will perform a variety of administrative functions for the Office of Human Resources’ Bureau of Support. The position is responsible for management of electronic files, records, and data; provides support for the Labor Relations unit; prepares and processes Collective Bargaining Agreement grievances; creates, reviews, maintains, and submits reports; serves as a liaison for Human Resources inquires; along with other duties.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check.

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • At least two (2) years of professional human resources, administrative, or clerical experience.
