The Work You Will Do:

We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented candidates with great customer service skills for this Operations Analysts I position. The Operations Analyst I position is a highly responsible position who will work in the Division of Administrative Services within the Director’s Office performing various administrative duties.

    Pay:

    The annual salary for this position will be $40,000.00.

    Your Specific Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Process requests for security badges and maintain accurate files.

  • Prepares, reviews and processes purchase orders using Ariba system and/or Purchasing Card and track through the approval process.

  • Ensures goods and services are received as ordered, processes all invoices ensuring they are approved, submitted, and paid in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Research and obtain quotes for purchases as needed.

  • Annually (beginning in April), get quotes for new blanket PRs, attach and submit.

  • Monitors office supply inventories by ordering supplies as needed, and maintains an organized supply closet.

  • Serves as the contract manager for the purchase orders for multiple copier/printer/scanner leases, in addition to coordinating maintenance and repair of copiers and printers.

  • Keep a balanced excel tracking log of the monthly expenditures as directed for budget control of all purchase orders.

  • Assists with coordinating cell phone activity for departmental accounts, to include purchasing and updating databases.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments while meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to document, track and compile data effectively in a variety of reporting formats.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and retrieve files from active or archive sources. Basic filing practices to include numeric and alphabetic systems.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.

  • Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment.

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetical calculations.

  • Ability to prepare documents, i.e., FLAIR (Budget) Correction Request for submission.

    Qualifications

    Minimum

    High school diploma or GED equivalent, and four years of verifiable related work experience.

    Other Job-Related Requirements for this position:

    Valid Driver License.
