This opportunity entails being responsible for analyzing and developing innovative software solutions to improve business operations and goals. They work closely with the IT and executive teams to understand the needs and requirements of the organization and its clients. They also provide internal IT support and manage web-based services and customer support.
What You'll Do:
Performs system analyses on software programs, applications, and web services.
Determines system efficiency and functionality by liaising with internal departments and end-users.
Reports to management and obtains approval for system development projects.
Develops software programs to improve business operations and customer satisfaction.
Analyzes and improves the performance of web-based customer portals and support services.
Ensures end-user proficiency with new systems, programs, and applications across departments.
Monitors product licenses and ensures compliance with IT industry regulations.
Ensures that computer hardware remains compatible with system enhancements and updates.
Promotes system efficiency and security by integrating performance metrics and encryption.
Implements new advancements in the field of system and enterprise architecture.
Provides technical expertise and guidance to the team and clients as needed.
Researches and evaluates hardware and software technology options and weighing the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or
In lieu of education, 7 years of relevant experience
What You'll Bring:
Intermediate knowledge of databases like SQL Server, Oracle, and system integration solutions.
Experience managing GIS Servers and troubleshooting configuration issues.
Experience with Cloud based servers such as Azure, Amazon, etc.
Ability to facilitate internal end-user proficiency.
Ability to design and maintain efficient customer portal support and feedback channels.
Ensuring optimal system functionality via integrated diagnostics.
Intermediate knowledge of data security and encryption.
Ability to keep up with IT advancements.
Exceptional communication skills toward facilitating the use of new software systems.
