Must have the following to apply:

• High school or equivalent
• Clean MVR record
• Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement
• Two years verifiable experience
• Ability to meet D.O. T. medical and drug testing requirements

Skills:

• Ability to handle heavy freight
• Ability to handle considerable effort required and hand dexterity
• Flexibility with work hours due to unexpected/unscheduled needs
• Verbal communication skills

Required Screenings:

Drug Testing/Screening; Motor Vehicle Record Checks.

Job Description:

The Class B Driver is responsible for all pick-up and delivery services for multiple project locations. May be required to perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor for the completion of the job in a safe and timely manner.

• Loading/unloading freight according to OSHA rules of safety
• Perform dock work efficiently
• Reviews and verifies correctness of location directions with knowledge of area and industry locations
• Delivers to proper locations in yard
• Drives vehicle for pick- up and delivery services only
• Maintains the order of vehicles with housekeeping and repairs
• Communicates with Maintenance Department and Safety Department regarding vehicle health
• P erforms clerical functions incidental to delivery activities including logging movements
• Exercise independent judgment regarding locales and order of daily itinerary
• Ability to dealwith conflicting demands, time pressure, deadlines and emergencies

WORKING CONDITIONS

Local travel may be required.
