Centene Corporation Senior Manager, Contract Management in TAMPA, Florida

Position Purpose: Drives implementation of contracts and pricing strategies in compliance with the terms of agreements and regulations. Leads contract management team on tactical and strategic initiatives of the contracting process.
Oversees the development of policies and processes that govern the contract management team and provide guidance on contract terms and the assessment of contract proposals
Manages the proposals, negotiation and administration of contracts that comply with company policies and legal requirements
Manages the delivery of contract administration services and processes and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
Works with senior leadership on negotiations for complex or high-value contracts
Manages contract management team on performance, improvement, and career growth path consideration
Mentors contract management team members to develop tactical career development plan to decrease attrition
Manages and reviews the latest training materials and/or programs for the contract management team development and updates to ensure adequate training and quality standards
Supports in developing the overall strategy for onboarding, hiring, and training new employees on onboarding, hiring, recent promotes, transfers and performance and/or reward decisions within contract management department
Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, including prior management experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Previous experience conducting evaluations of provider agreements and/or an individual with a background in provider contracting highly preferred. Ideal candidate should have demonstrated abilities of strategic thinking and planning.
3+ years management experience preferred.
Pay Range: $98,900.00 - $183,100.00 per year
