Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Sr Assoc Scientist, Formulation Development in Tarrytown, New York

We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Associate Scientist within the Formulation Development Group of Regeneron Pharmaceutical Inc. at Tarrytown, NY. In this role, you will be involved with clinical and commercial formulation development activities including stability testing and characterization.

A Typical Day in the Role of Sr. Associate Scientist Might Look Like:

  • Design and independently drives phase-appropriate formulation development studies, such as formulation screening, stability, and compatibility studies for early and late-stage development programs, including antibodies and other modalities.

  • Develop and perform characterization of molecules using various biophysical and biochemical techniques to identify critical quality attributes for formulation and drug product development.

  • Characterize the drug product (lyophilized or liquid) formulation to support the process development and manufacturing of clinical drug substances and drug products.

This role requires a MS or BS with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant post-degree laboratory experience. Proven experience preferred. Strong technical knowledge base with protein/peptide chemistry, biophysical/biochemical characterization of proteins, bioanalytical method development and biomolecule product development is desirable. Experience with chromatography methods (HPLC, UPLC, column chromatography, CEX, AEX, SEC, IPRP, RP), visible and subvisible particle analysis (MFI, HIAC), capillary electrophoresis (MCE, iCIEF) and/or biophysical techniques (UV-vis, DLS, FTIR, DSC, AUC, Fluorescence, Raman spectroscopy) for characterization is desirable.

Salary Range (annually)

$77,600.00 - $126,600.00
