Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a Public Trust Clearance!

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

A week in the life of a Senior Business Analyst:

  • Work with customers and external stakeholders to elicit business requirements, document business cases, features, and workflows, and prepare and present briefings and demonstrations

  • Maintain the overall perspective of the features and requirements of MCC to ensure requirements are well defined and the solution meets the needs of our stakeholders

  • Define and document functional requirements, work with technical teams to ensure business objectives are understood and verify that requirements are fulfilled in MCC software.

  • Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure the needs of our stakeholders are quickly and correctly translated into functional requirements and user stories.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent

  • 7 years of related experience

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Understanding business analysis and requirements management techniques and best practices

  • Very strong writing skills

  • Demonstrated organizational skills

  • Knowledge of business processes, configuration management, and quality management processes

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Agile SDLC

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $120,000 – 150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
