Donor Network of Arizona is seeking an emotionally strong, mature, genuine, compassionate and mission driven individual to work with families at the time of their loved ones death regarding end-of-life decisions for organ and tissue donation.This Donation and Family Advocate must be able to walk into extremely challenging and uncomfortable situations and be motivated to confidently explore donation with families at their most devastating time of loss. We are seeking an Emotional First Responderwho courageously runs into the fire that is a burning building of emotions.This work is for the few,not the many.If you see yourself as that kind ofEmotional First Responderand you also firmly believe that organ and tissue donation are a way of offering healing to both recipients and donor families, keep reading.

This work consists of helping families make their best decision about donation, based on their values and beliefs, in their worst moment of losing a loved one. If an individual has alreadyregistered his or her decision to be a donor, the Donation and Family Advocate then helps the family to honor and support that decision to save lives and heal others.\ \ Requirements:\ Experience working with different cultures and diverse populations.\ This is a full-time on-call position with 24-hour shifts.\ This position requires reliable transportation for occasional work throughout the state. Minimum of bachelors degree and experience in counseling, crisis intervention, ministry, social work, death and dying education.\ Donor Network of Arizona is a drug free workplace
