Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Tempe, Arizona

Description We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team based in Tempe, Arizona. This role primarily focuses on managing all aspects of HR functions, offering a contract employment opportunity. The HR Manager will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including payroll management, maintaining holiday and vacation records, overseeing insurance and benefits, and handling hiring, firing, and interviewing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payments

• Maintaining comprehensive records of employee vacations and holidays

• Managing employee insurance and benefits, including the administration of 401k plans

• Coordinating the hiring, firing, and interviewing processes to maintain optimal staffing levels

• Overseeing the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company

• Utilizing HRMS for efficient management of HR tasks

• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all HR functions

• Administering compensation and benefit structures

• Managing employee relations and addressing any issues that may arise

• Driving continuous improvement in HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements • Proficient in the use of Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)

• Experience with benefit functions including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee wellness programs

• Knowledge and understanding of compensation administration including salary structures, bonus programs, and payroll

• Familiarity with HR compliance standards and regulations such as labor laws and equal employment opportunity (EEO)

• Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement strategies
