KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead reliability and system safety efforts for various electromechanical aerospace product lines including flight control actuation systems and environmental control systems.
System Safety Analysis
Safety requirements decomposition
Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)
Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
Reliability Analysis
Reliability predictions (MTBF, failure rates, MTBUR)
Reliability requirements analysis
Reliability Block diagrams (series and parallel modeling)
Failure Modes and Effects and Analysis (FMEA / FMECA)
Weibull analysis
Collaborate with design and system engineering teams to assure that product meets customer requirements
Creation and delivery of analytical reports to the customer
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
15+ years of experience in a reliability or system safety role
5+ years of experience in leading technical project teams
WE VALUE
Experience with reliability and safety analysis on Design Assurance Level (DAL) A systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Exposure to MIL-STD-882/785
Knowledge of aerospace components including actuation systems and environmental control systems
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information
