Insight Global Technical Product Owner in Tempe, Arizona

We are seeking an IT Technical Product Owner with over 8 years of proven experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, team leadership, and technical expertise in software development. As a Senior IT Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing a team of project managers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Lead and mentor project managers and teams to ensure successful project delivery.

2.Project Management Tools: Utilize JIRA proficiently to create, track tasks, bugs, and user stories, and develop customizable dashboards.

3.Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers using FIGMA to develop cloud-based designs and prototypes for UI/UX web design, mobile applications, and product design.

  1. User Stories: Write and refine user stories, specifically focusing on technical components, and run refinement calls with other teams.

  2. Agile Methodologies: Apply in-depth knowledge of Agile project management methodologies to prioritize projects, measure requirements using story points, and drive positive outcomes.

  3. Automated Processes: Implement automated processes such as chat bots on websites/applications to enhance user experience.

  4. API Development: Write API tickets for backend development to ensure product functionality.

  5. Software Development: Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful software development and implementation.

9.Portfolio Management: Define and manage the IT project and product development portfolio, prioritizing projects based on business value and strategic alignment.

  1. Project Governance: Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices, ensuring adherence to project management processes and governance frameworks.

Skills and Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven experience in IT technical Product Owner

  • Experience managing other project manager and teams

  • Strong experience in JIRA, a project management tool to create, track, tasks, bugs, and create user stories and create customizable dashboards

  • Experience working with FIGMA to work in cloud-based designs and prototypes for UI and UX web design, mobile applications, and product design.

  • Experience in writing user stories -- specifically technical components

  • Experience running refinement calls with other teams (Scrum Masters, Developers, PM, etc)

  • Experience using story points to measure requirements to fully implement a product backlog item or work

  • Experience with automated procutes EX. Chat bots on website/ applications

  • Experience reading designs, understanding design,s and reading notes from designer

  • Experience writing API tickets for backend side for product to run

  • Experience in software development

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.

  • Track record of successfully managing complex IT projects and driving positive outcomes.

  • Define and manage the IT project and product development portfolio.

  • Prioritize projects based on business value, resource availability, and strategic alignment.

  • Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Ensure adherence to project management processes and governance frameworks. - Bachelors or Master degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Healthcare or pharmacy experience null
