Tissue Recovery Technician I:
The Tissue Recovery Technician is responsible for assisting and carrying out DNA\'s mission to maximize donation. Assists with donor activity. Performs tissue recovery procedures according to protocol and policy, as well as maintain a clean, safe operating room environment. All responsibilities should be performed within the scope of the Food and Drug Administration guidelines, Eye Bank Association of American Medical Standards, American Association of Tissue Bank guidelines, and Donor Network of Arizonas departmental standard operating procedures. The TRT will also perform other duties as requested by the leadership team. In addition to the job expectations, everyone will work to maintain an environment that supports professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication and displays DNAs core values daily.\ \ Responsibilities:
Circulator / Back Table\ Procurement Technician\ Ocular Recovery Cornea / Whole Eye\ Medical Record Review\ Birth Tissue Acquisition\ Ability to work 8/10-hour shifts 5 days a week. No set days off\ 4 weekend shifts required per month\ Some out-of-town travel associated\
Qualifications:
Preferrededucation; basic college courses, H.S. Diploma required.\ Minimum Experience 0- 6 months. Preferred Experience; 1- 2Years.\ Minimum Field of Expertise; Surgical technology background, Knowledge of biological sciences.\ Technical work.\ Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills.\ Driving a company vehicle is required\ Physically demanding position with the ability to lift 50-75lbs
