Compensation: $21.00/hr

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.00

A Typical Work Day May Include:

  • Follow procedures independently, paying attention to details while handling different types of ingredients without supervision

  • Gain basic maintenance knowledge on ingredient movement including the operation of belt conveyors, legs, scales, samplers and other related equipment

  • Remotely operate plant equipment utilizing a PLC (Programmable logic controller), monitor the movement of ingredients

  • Notify other employees of production plans; communicate with other workers in the plant performing tasks and resolving different issues scenarios in the facility

  • Provide high-level troubleshooting knowledge to make sure machines run efficiently

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

  • Maintain all housekeeping assignments, keep a safe work environment, work to improve the condition of the department, and as a team member with a positive attitude

  • Assist other plant personnel as needed and will perform any other duty as requested by the production supervisor

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Basic use of a computer and typing skills.

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • High School diploma or Equivalent.

  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Experience operating a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word

  • Prior experience in production related work
