AEM Lead Developer

Westlake, TX/Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid Onsite)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Rapidly iterate on product and platform features by quickly understanding requirements and producing good quality code

  • Be a subject matter expert by identifying technology trends and platforms including web and mobile apps and collaborate with other team members to make recommendations based on the company’s needs

  • Participate in the software design development and implementation using Adobe Experience Manager

  • Deep knowledge expertise in Adobe Experience Manager

  • Assist with the estimation of development tasks project planning risk identification and mitigation planning

  • Assist in defining designing implementing the development architecture leveraging CI/CD principles

  • Serve as a lead developer or team lead of a small remote or offshore team leveraging Agile based principles to deliver error free technology components

  • Be involved in all stages of development from product ideation through architecture and execution

  • Help evolve the software development methodology based on agile and lean thinking including impacting the development of coding conventions documentation standards testing procedures and quality assurance

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of technology standards industry trends emerging technologies and software development best practices

  • Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved and implement strategies and solutions to help reduce the likelihood of reoccurrence Identify competitive services opportunities for innovation and provide an assessment of obstacles and technical hurdles to the success of the project Interface with Architects to understand the design skeleton

  • Create the framework for apps set standards guidelines Hands on Coding

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 7 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager, CQ5 preferably AEM 6.3 and above versions

  • Experience with large scale Responsive design techniques

  • Hands on experience with designing and building AEM templates components dialogs widgets bundles

  • Sound knowledge on multi-site management (sling models, Sightly HTL and workflows)

  • Deep understanding of Java Content Repository API suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix, OSGi framework and DAM

  • Thorough knowledge of AEM back end development and integration with external system

  • Strong knowledge of creating REST Web Services

  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases

  • Knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and front-end frameworks libraries like jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap etc and CSS pre-processing platforms

  • Good to have experience on Angular, React or Vue

  • Deep understanding on dispatchers and all its configurations

  • Knowledge of using AEM in a cloud environment like Adobe Cloud AWS or other

  • Expertise in responsive web design and cross browsers compatibility and DevOps environment and working with CI/CD methodologies

  • Good understanding of Integration with adobe experience cloud products like Adobe Analytics, Target campaign

  • Through knowledge of the permission management including creation of user groups and permission management in AEM

  • Excellent problem solving skills willingness to take ownership and risks and enthusiasm in the face of technical challenges

  • Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization information security vulnerabilities and risk management

  • Exceptionally self motivated solid, interpersonal skills and a good communicator

  • Extremely detailed oriented committed to excellence and takes unrelenting pride in the code you write

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent required

  • Adobe Certified/MasterAdobe Experience Manager Sites Architect/AEM Lead Developer
